The 2024–25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available. We want to ensure you are ready for the new FAFSA, and encourage you to complete your application early. The priority deadline for the 2024-25 FAFSA is March 1.

How To Prepare

• Determine who in your family will be contributors on your student's FAFSA.
• Ensure your students and each contributor create an FSA ID.
• Watch the “Preparing for the FAFSA Form” playlist to understand what information and documents your family will need to complete your FAFSA form.
• We encourage your student to complete their FAFSA early, as a reminder, the priority deadline is March 1. 

Please note, if your student has already completed their FAFSA, the earliest Charlotte will be able to view their completed FAFSA information is early March.
